By creating an account or playing AnimeGuessingQuiz, you agree to these terms. They're short: be decent, play fair, and know what the site is and isn't.
AnimeGuessingQuiz is a free, fan-made anime quiz. It isn't affiliated with AniList, MyAnimeList, AnimeThemes, or any studio or publisher. Anime titles, artwork, characters and music belong to their owners and are shown to identify them in the quiz.
No harassment, hate, slurs, threats, sexual content, spam, or pretending to be someone else, in usernames, profiles, comments, guilds or chat. Usernames and comments pass through a word filter, and we may remove content or rename accounts that break these rules.
No cheating: no bots, scripts, or tools that answer for you, no exploiting bugs, and no scraping or overloading the site. If you find a bug, tell us. We may reset scores or suspend or delete accounts that cheat.
Gems, dust, cards, levels and everything else you earn or buy in the game have no real-money value and can't be sold or exchanged for money. We may adjust them, for example to fix a bug or keep the game balanced.
Supporting the site through Ko-fi is voluntary and gives cosmetic perks. Perks may change over time.
Gem packs are bought through PayPal and added to the account you're signed in to as soon as the payment goes through. Because they're delivered straight away, buying a pack means you agree that you lose the right to cancel once the gems are in your account, and bought gems aren't refundable, except where the law says otherwise. If a payment is refunded or charged back, we take the gems back off the account.
If something went wrong with a purchase, contact us and we'll sort it out. Ko-fi's and PayPal's own terms apply to the payments themselves.
Invite rewards are for real friends. Inviting your own extra accounts, or getting around the rules for them, can lose you the gems they earned and more.
You keep ownership of what you post (your bio, pictures and comments) and let us show it on the site. Only upload things you have the right to share.
The site is provided as it is. It may change, have bugs, or go down, and features, modes and data may be added or removed. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using it.
If these terms change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it; playing after that means you accept them. You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
